卷十二一〇、Adler〔阿德勒〕先生語錄

　　（一月十一日）

　　Spiritual relation is the criss-cross relation between persons. It's love. It is spending one's self on another and receiving in return the spiritualizing and uplifting effects of so-doing.（精神上的關係是人與人之間的參互交錯的關係。就是愛。就是把自己消費在一個別人的身上，而在如此做時，自己也得著鼓舞向上的影響作酬報。）

　　Moral oblization is not the externally imposed command；it is the necessity to act so as to bring out the best in the other person.（the beloved one，for example）（道德的責任並不是那外來的命令；只是必須要怎樣做才可以引出別人——例如所愛之人——的最好部分。）

　　You can only keep yourself alive and uplight by taking an interest in some other or alter．（只有對於別人發生興趣才可使自己常是活潑潑地，常是堂堂地。）

　　Live in vitally affecting others！（讓你的生活對別人產生深遠的影響！）

　　So influence others as to make them cease to think cheaply of themselves.（要這樣影響別人：要使他們不再菲薄自己。）
